Our Favourite Flaxseed Recipe

Easy Fruity Oat breakfast

 

A delightful start to any day that takes 2 minutes to prepare

 

  • 35g  oatflakes
  • 1 tablespoon Virginia Harvest Milled Flaxseed ( any variety)
  • 100 mls milk ( any kind) I prefer oat or almond milk
  • 75g   greek or any plain yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 -5 tablespoons of  fresh or frozen raspberries or any fruit  of your choice
  • Chopped walnuts or hazelnuts for extra crunch ( optional)

 

Tip the oats and milled flaxseed and nuts ( if using)  into a bowl

 Add the milk and yogurt

 Mash the banana and whip in

 Layer into a nice glass bowl with some of the  fruit

 Then top with the remaining fruit

 

This can be eaten immediately or left in the fridge overnight!
